Given our continued growth, we have immediate roles available for a highly motivated Senior Principal II Hardware Engineer to join the CES Group and help Transition to Production, Production Support and Sustainment team. In this role, you will have a chance to grow your skills supporting the continued production and sustainment of various complex microwave modules, submodules, circuit card assemblies, and subsystems utilized across multiple projects. You will have the opportunity to work closely with cutting-edge hardware fielded on the most advanced Military Platforms.
Activities day to day will vary and may include:
- Assessing design updates to existing Electrical designs
- Delegating tasks to less experienced engineers and technicians
- Technical management of subcontractors
- Working with hardware suppliers
- Supporting product yield and affordability improvements
- Supporting production issues in assembly, test/debug, quality and managing overall workload of the HW team supporting production
- Working in partnership with a cross-functional team to ensure on time deliveries of quality products to support the War Fighter.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- An Electrical Engineering Bachelor's degree and 10+ years' experience working on power and digital products preferably in the defense industry
- Power: Expertise in Filters, Power Supplies with topologies such as Buck-Boost, amplifiers, sequencing, high-side switching, etc.
- Analog: Expertise in design and debug of ops amps, A/D, analog, PLL circuits.
- Expertise is regulatory testing including ESD, Lightning and grounding.
- Expertise in simulation including LT Spice, Power Integrity analysis.
- Experience testing and troubleshooting complex EW systems
- Experience supporting a production environment
- Motivated self-starter with leadership skills and ability to effectively work in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills, judgment, and analytical capability.
- Ability to close on discrete tasking in a timely manner and lead others to closure - Own the Design
- Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.
- Active or previously held Secret Clearance HIGHLY PREFERRED
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Active Secret Clearance HIGHLY PREFERRED
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Experience gathering and analyzing test data to assess trends and develop yield improvement plans
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $149603 - $254317
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
