Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $2600 per week.

Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Cerner is required.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: Required work setting experience: Adult Critical Care, Emergency Department. Required airway management devices/suctioning skills/experience: Endotracheal tube/suctioning, Extubation, Intubation Assist, Nasal airway placement, Nasal airway suctioning, Oral airway placement, Oropharyngeal/suctioning, Sputum specimen collection, Tracheostomy/suctioning. Required nebulizer skills/experience: Hand held, T-Piece, Trach collar. Required oxygen therapy skills/experience: Bag and mask, ET Tube, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), T-Piece, Trach Collar, Venturi Masks. Required ventilator management skills/experience: BiPAP, CPAP, Troubleshooting high pressure alarms, Weaning from mechanical ventilation.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching hospital experience is preferred. Community hospital experience is preferred. Trauma Level I and II experience preferred.

Special Requests: Ideally no more than 5 days of RTO. Allied clinicians that do not require a state license in hand must arrive 3 days prior to start for fingerprints.

Unit Details: Adult, pediatric, and geriatric patient population. Bedside bronchs.

Shift & Scheduling: 3x12 nights or 4x12s (1800-0630). Will work every other weekend. Call required as needed for the department.

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 2
