Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $1500 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: Charge experience preferred. Preceptor experience preferred.

Unit Details: The unit provides orthopedic trauma and medical-surgical care. Typical procedures include patient ambulation and wound care as needed. Uses Baxter IV pumps and Welch Allyn vital-sign machines. An admission/discharge team assists with the admitting and discharging process for medical-surgical patients.

Floating Requirements: May float to a sister department (Surgical Telemetry Unit) or Inpatient Rehab.
