Job Description:

Reviews reports, prepares correspondence, and participates in special department projects. Processes mail and drop box items, files, and images documents. Maintains customer/potential customer databases and follows up on initial contacts. Responds to member inquiries via telephone and electronic channels, providing prompt, accurate, and courteous information. Other duties as assigned. Opens new accounts and updates existing member information. Promotes various marketing campaigns and cross-sells credit union products. Identifies sales opportunities during member interactions and actively promotes credit union products and services. Resolves account issues, including fee reversals, posting errors, payroll deduction changes, and minimum payment requirements. Troubleshoots plastic card problems, such as activations, fraud claims, processing errors, and new or replacement orders. Processes loan applications, interviews applicants, disburses consumer loans, and conducts follow-up. Handles routine daily tasks, including account balance inquiries, transfer requests, stop payment orders, and changes of address. Greets members cheerfully and determines appropriate responses or directions for their inquiries.

  • Knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Compliance and other regulations and laws related to the position.Ability to interpret regulations and compliance standards [Required]

  • Ability to satisfactorily complete on-the-job and/or classroom training [Required]

  • Ability to effectively use multiple systems to identify and communicate products that meet customer needs [Required]

  • Data entry and typing skills; ability to type a minimum of 20 words per minute [Required]
