Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $2210 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• AS completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 24 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: Temp Illinois licensure is not accepted. Associate’s degree - Respiratory Therapy

Unit Details: Performs routine and critical respiratory care procedures for neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Cares for ventilator patients and provides respiratory therapy on inpatient units and in the emergency room. Obtains and analyzes arterial, venous, and capillary blood gases. Prepares, tests, processes, and maintains respiratory therapy equipment and supplies.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekends and holidays as needed.

Floating Requirements: Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital. The Carle leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations.

7 days maximum time off. Maximum consecutive days off: 3

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required
