Registered Nurse Pulmonary Post Thoracic Surgery

Ascension is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Pulmonary Post Thoracic Surgery unit. In this role, you will provide compassionate, evidence-based care to adult post-surgical patients with complex pulmonary needs. Responsibilities include comprehensive assessment, monitoring chest tubes and drains, administering medications, managing ventilators and oxygen therapy, coordinating multidisciplinary care, and educating patients and families. You will precept new staff, contribute to quality and safety initiatives, and document accurately in the EMR.
