Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Recruiter to support hiring across a diverse mix of Research & Development, Sales, and Corporate functions for an established, global organization in the specialty ingredients and life sciences industry.

The organization develops and manufactures innovative, science-based solutions used across industries including human nutrition, health and wellness, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, and animal nutrition. This is an opportunity to partner closely with business leaders in a highly technical, product-driven environment where recruiting needs range from specialized scientific talent to commercial and corporate professionals.

This position is hybrid and requires three days per week onsite in the company’s northern New Jersey office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting across R&D, Sales, and Corporate functions, from intake through offer acceptance.
  • Recruit for a variety of positions, which may include scientists, chemists, product development and technical professionals, sales and commercial talent, and corporate functions.
  • Partner directly with hiring managers to understand business needs, role requirements, candidate profiles, and recruiting priorities.
  • Develop targeted sourcing strategies for specialized and difficult-to-fill positions.
  • Proactively identify and engage passive candidates through LinkedIn and other sourcing channels.
  • Conduct candidate screens and provide thoughtful recommendations to hiring teams.
  • Manage interview processes, candidate communication, feedback, and offer coordination.
  • Maintain accurate recruiting activity and candidate information within the ATS.
  • Provide hiring managers with market insights and help calibrate expectations around talent availability, compensation, and search strategy.
  • Deliver a strong candidate experience while balancing multiple searches and stakeholder priorities.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally within a corporate or embedded recruiting environment.
  • Demonstrated experience recruiting across multiple functions; experience supporting R&D/scientific, technical, sales, or corporate hiring is strongly preferred.
  • Experience recruiting within life sciences, chemicals, food/ingredients, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, manufacturing, or another technical/scientific industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong sourcing skills and demonstrated ability to recruit specialized or hard-to-find talent.
  • Comfortable partnering directly with hiring managers and senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication, organization, and candidate-management skills.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a broader Talent Acquisition and HR team.

Work Arrangement

  • Hybrid – 3 days per week onsite in Northern New Jersey

This role is best suited for a recruiter who enjoys variety and can move comfortably between highly technical R&D searches, commercially focused Sales hiring, and broader Corporate recruiting needs.
