We are seeking a hospitality-driven Manager of Events & Activations to help deliver memorable experiences for our flagship campus in Gaithersburg, Maryland. This is more than an event planning role. We're looking for an organized, energetic hospitality professional who thrives on bringing creative ideas to life while ensuring every event is executed flawlessly. From executive meetings and VIP receptions to outdoor activations, museum events, community gatherings, and unique off-site experiences, you'll play a key role in creating hospitality experiences that leave a lasting impression.
What You'll Do
Working closely with the Director of Events & Activations, you'll coordinate and execute a wide variety of corporate and hospitality events while partnering with culinary, catering, facilities, audiovisual, and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute upscale corporate events, meetings, receptions, and campus activations.
- Assist with planning and logistics for off-site events at parks, museums, theaters, entertainment venues, and other unique locations.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients before, during, and after events.
- Partner with catering, culinary, AV, facilities, and operations teams to ensure seamless event execution.
- Manage event timelines, room setups, vendor coordination, and day-of-event logistics.
- Ensure every event reflects high hospitality standards.
- Monitor event budgets, schedules, and operational details.
- Support post-event follow-up and client satisfaction efforts.
- Help develop creative event concepts and guest experiences.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and outside vendors.

- Experience working with culinary, catering, AV, and operations teams.
- Budget tracking and vendor coordination experience.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-touch hospitality environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and event management software.
