SATU Registered Nurse

Mission Health in Asheville, NC is seeking a SATU Registered Nurse to provide specialized, trauma-informed care to sexual assault and abuse patients. The RN will conduct forensic exams, evidence collection, and detailed documentation while collaborating with physicians, advocacy professionals, and law enforcement. Responsibilities include triage, patient assessment, crisis intervention, and coordination of follow-up care. The nurse will uphold patient dignity, maintain chain-of-custody standards, educate patients and families, and contribute to quality, safety, and ongoing training within a collaborative care team.
