Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2110 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Pennsylvania license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Wellspan Health.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: Community hospital experience is preferred.

Preferred Credentials: MENDS preferred.

Special Requests: If you have more than 5 days of requested time off, time will be added at the end of the contract to ensure a full 13 weeks. Labs must be completed within 48 hours of signing. Travelers will be expected to work 2 of 3 upcoming major holidays (1. Thanksgiving Day/Black Friday, 2. Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, 3. New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day). If the contract falls over only 2 of these holidays, traveler will be expected to work 1 of 2 holidays. Please do not request more than 1 holiday off.

Unit Details: Adult patient population. Hip fractures, osteomyelitis, cellulitis, acute kidney injury, pneumonia, bowel obstructions, and general medical/surgical patients. Total joint arthroplasties and spinal fusions. Could care for COVID patients. Tobacco- and fragrance-free facility.

Shift & Scheduling: RTO max: 7 days. Every other weekend. No call. Holidays as needed.

Floating Requirements: May be asked to float to other departments based on unit needs.
