Full job description

Our client, a leader in the medical device manufacturing industry, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be part of the production support team, working closely with cross-functional departments to ensure high-quality, efficient manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, a hands-on approach, and a commitment to continuous improvement, which will align successfully in the organization.

Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Location: St. Paul, MN (100% On-Site)

Duration: 12 Month contract with possibility of extension

Pay Range: $40/hr. - $45/hr.

What's the Job?

  • Support high-precision medical device production environments by troubleshooting equipment issues
  • Investigate and resolve yield-related problems to improve manufacturing efficiency
  • Update and maintain manufacturing procedures and work instructions to ensure compliance
  • Contribute to CAPA investigations through rigorous root cause analysis
  • Drive process improvements to enhance quality and throughput on a carbon machining-based manufacturing line

What's Needed?

  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in regulated industries
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach
  • Experience supporting complex manufacturing processes and equipment validation
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and maintain compliance with medical device regulations
