Warehouse Order Picker & Package Handler

Distribution Center Address: 342 Gordon Industrial Ave., Shepherdsville, KY


Pay:  Earn two pay raises in your first year and earn more per hour for speed and efficiency.


Selection

  • 1st Shift: $20.90/hour
  • 2nd Shift: $21.90/hour (includes $1.00 shift premium)

Shipping

  • 1st Shift: $20.13/hour

  • 2nd Shift: $21.13/hour (includes $1.00 shift premium)


Work Schedule:

  • Sunday - Thursday work week, with Friday and Saturdays off
  • 1st Shift 6:30 - 7:30 AM until finish (shifts may vary based on work volume)
  • 2nd Shift - 6:30 - 7:30 PM until finish (shifts may vary based on work volume)

Gordon Food Service takes pride in delivering seamless order processing and delivery to our customers, and our warehouse staff is the backbone of our success. You’ll be on your feet for the duration of your shift and you’ll be lifting up to 100 pounds, but there’s no experience required - we train you how to get the job done with our dedicated training team. Does this look like you?

  • You must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed - holidays are very important to our customers!
  • We have frozen products - your ability to work in extreme cold or hot conditions is required while you’re here.
  • Must be able to read, write and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions).
  • Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage and a background check.
  • Candidates are encouraged to submit a resume or provide at least five years of work history to ensure a timely review of their application. While a resume is not required, doing so may help us process your application more quickly.
