Observation Unit RN

Doctors Hospital of Augusta seeks an Observation Unit RN to deliver high-quality, time-sensitive care to adult patients requiring short-term evaluation and treatment. In this fast-paced setting, you will perform focused assessments, monitor telemetry and vital signs, administer medications and IV therapies, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition. You will coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges to support efficient patient flow, while collaborating closely with physicians, case management, and interdisciplinary teams. RNs educate patients and families, ensure accurate EHR documentation, uphold safety and infection prevention standards, and contribute to quality and performance-improvement initiatives.
