**Federal work-study eligible students only**
University Annual Giving & Stewardship in the Office of Engagement is seeking applications for a work study student employee.
Responsibilities:
This student will assist with a variety of direct marketing responsibilities including data proofing, the review and execution of text messages and emails, and initiate communications with vendors.
Duties will also include: research for and assistance with marketing campaigns, as well as maintenance of the Advancement Community Marketing Calendar (ACMC).
This role supports the Direct Marketing team in University Annual Giving & Stewardship in the Office of Engagement.
Other similar tasks may be assigned within University Annual Giving & Stewardship. Interns must sign an NDA, and confidentiality is a priority.
Preferred Skills:
University Annual Giving & Stewardship is seeking a driven individual with strong communication and organizational skills, excellent time management, and expert attention to detail. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Canva, and Adobe applications such as Acrobat Pro, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously are valued. Applicants must be eligible for student employment and work study. This position will report to the Assistant Director, Direct Marketing.
University Annual Giving & Stewardship is located on 2420 Old Ivy Road in Charlottesville. This posting is for the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters.
Work will be remote. There will be periodic opportunities for in-person collaboration and responsibilities.
Rate of pay: $19.50/hour
Scheduling: Up to 20 hours a week; a minimum of 10 hours a week.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
