Forklift Operator

Our client, a leading organization in the refrigerated logistics industry, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their dedicated team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be an essential part of the warehouse operations supporting the cold storage and distribution processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Forklift Operator

Location: Weyauwega, WI

Rate: $23.00

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm (with 1 30-minute unpaid break)

What's the Job?

• Operate stand-up forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in a cold/refrigerated environment (34-36 degrees)
• Ensure accurate and safe handling of products, adhering to safety protocols and procedures
• Assist with inventory management and proper documentation of warehouse activities
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to promote safety and efficiency
• Demonstrate forklift skills during the interview process to validate experience and competence

What's Needed?

• Previous stand-up forklift experience
• Ability to work in cold/refrigerated environments
• Dress appropriately for cold conditions (sweatshirt, coat, gloves) and safety shoes
• Pass drug screening and background checks (7-year criminal history, no recent felony theft or assault)
