Overview:

Sentara Anesthesiology Specialists, a division of Sentara Medical Group, is seeking a Part-Time Anesthesiologist to join the team at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, a 525-bed tertiary care facility. SNGH is home to the only Level I Adult Trauma Center and burn trauma unit in Hampton Roads and serves as the primary teaching hospital for Eastern Virginia Medical School.

The hospital provides a full range of surgical services, including general, pediatric, gynecologic, orthopedic, plastic, podiatry, urology, and ENT procedures. SNGH is Magnet-designated for nursing excellence and an accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center, with specialties in neurology, neurosurgery, oncology, spine care, advanced imaging, behavioral health, and women’s and neonatal care.

Sentara Anesthesiology Specialists is a premier team of board-certified anesthesiologists and CRNAs caring for over 15,000 patients annually, focused on high-quality, patient-centered care supported by safety and performance metrics.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $388,024.00 - $623,916.80 annually.

Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
