• Days or nights -- 7am - 7pm or 7pm - 7am (12-hour shifts)
• 10 - 15 patients per day -- inpatient rounding
• Inpatient setting -- no clinic
• First assist required
• Cases: appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernia, gynecologic
• No trauma cases
