About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and adaptable Substitute Teacher to join our team. This role is crucial in maintaining a continuity of education when our regular instructors are unavailable. The Substitute Teacher will effectively implement existing lesson plans, manage classroom dynamics, and foster a positive and productive environment for our young learners.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver instructional activities prepared by the regular teacher, ensuring students continue to progress towards academic goals.
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a healthy learning atmosphere.
- Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.
- Maintain accurate records as required by school policies.
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Prior teaching experience is preferred
- Ability to pass both state and federal background check
