Group Fitness Instructor (flexible, as-needed)

About the role

HealthFitness is excited to invite passionate, dynamic Group Fitness Instructors—of all specialties—to join our fitness team at a vibrant client site in Jersey City, NJ! In this role, you’ll lead fun, effective, and safe group exercise classes that energize and inspire members, including formats such as dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit training.

Responsible for providing fun, effective, and safe group exercise to members such as dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit. 

Minimum Requirements

• Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.
• Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required.
• 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.

The compensation range for this role is $60/hr - $80/hr. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.  We understand that compensation is an important factor when considering a new opportunity, and we strive to provide a competitive wage within the market.
