Lead Sonographer

Wellstar Health System seeks a Lead Sonographer to provide advanced diagnostic ultrasound services and guide a collaborative imaging team. In this onsite role, you will perform a wide range of ultrasound exams, ensure accurate imaging and thorough documentation, and support physicians in clinical decision-making. You will coordinate daily workflow, mentor and precept sonographers, and promote best practices in patient safety, quality, and infection control. As part of Wellstar’s patient-focused, learning-oriented culture, you will participate in protocol optimization, quality improvement, and ongoing professional development across a variety of care settings.
