UPMC Presbyterian is seeking a full-time Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our highly skilled IR team! Work a daylight Monday–Friday schedule with rotating evenings, weekends, holidays, and holiday call coverage. A 30-minute response time is required during call shifts.

What You’ll Do

  • Administer contrast under protocol and support physicians during interventional procedures.
  • Demonstrate expert positioning and radiographic techniques for a wide range of IR exams.
  • Review patient history and physician orders to ensure accurate, high-quality imaging.
  • Document patient information in the electronic medical record with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ensure all studies are properly coded, tracked, archived, and charged within RIS and ISITE systems.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with IR colleagues and other departments to expedite patient care.
  • Provide support for general radiographic procedures when needed.
  • Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
  • ARRT certified as a Radiologic Technologist is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required.
  • CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.
  • ARRT Certificate
