JOB DESCRIPTION

Making Money with Charles Payne is looking for a talented, organized, and motivated Associate Producer with strong editorial judgment and a firm grasp of financial markets. As an Associate Producer, you will produce segments, create graphics, write banners and book compelling guests under intense deadline pressure for a live hour-long broadcast.

You will need stellar communication skills and a desire to grow within the company.

 

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Produce multiple segments that are graphic and banner intensive
• Book dynamic and compelling guests
• Pitch and execute creative and innovative ideas for segments and stories
• Work closely with Producers, Bookers and Production Assistants
• Participate in editorial planning of the show

 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field of study is preferred, or equivalent experience
• Thorough knowledge of the stock market, investing trends and business news
• 1+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of skills and demonstrated experience
• Ability to work under intense deadline pressure
• Strong editorial judgment
• Ability to create compelling graphics for air

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $67,000.00-75,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
