Field Service Technician – Willingness to travel 65%

North Carolina or Virginia areas

Our client is looking for hardworking, a motivated Field Service Technician to join their team. This role requires heavy hands-on and customer-facing skills. This individual’s focus will be coolant/product trials, fluid management, troubleshooting, and customer support. No mechanical service or machine repairs.

What will you be doing?

  • In-person customer visits, check and monitor sumps, troubleshoot fluid-related issues, support machine cleanouts and charge-ups.
  • Monitor product performance at test sites and collect samples.
  • Diagnose malfunctions and operating errors.
  • Record daily activities by completing CRM reporting and follow ups.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines.

What do you bring?

  • Strong customer facing skills.
  • Willingness to travel (60% some overnight travel required)
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Previous metalworking-fluid or coolant experience preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude and Metalworking knowledge is a MUST. – preferably CNC machines.
