Part-time weekend nanny for our curious, energetic 4-year-old

Weekend mornings, 3 hours 10am - 1pm. San Jose, $33/hr. Either Sat or Sun or both. What your day would look like: meals (provided), backyard play, crafts, books, playground, imaginative play, quiet hour. What we're really hiring for: real presence, praise effort and kindness with specifics, warmth and boundaries together — redirect calmly, never withdraw affection; feelings get named and kept company, not hurried; repair over perfection ("sorry I was impatient" is valid); genuine delight in who she is. Experienced with preschoolers, CPR current, references required. Must be reliable, punctual & comfortable communicating with us honestly including (especially) hard moments. We are looking for someone whose face lights up around kids! When applying, include a moment with a child you're proud of.
