Program Director Hematology & Oncology
Bayhealth, the largest healthcare system in central and southern Delaware, is seeking a Program Director of Hematology & Oncology to lead its established cancer program and fellowship training initiative. This is a unique opportunity to combine clinical practice, academic leadership, and program development within a growing, mission-driven health system.

Leadership Role: Serve as Program Director for an ACGME-accredited Hematology-Oncology Fellowship (6 fellows by 2026), shaping the next generation of oncologists
Balanced Schedule: 70% clinical / 30% administrative and academic responsibilities
Lead expansion efforts across two cancer centers serving a rapidly growing population
Collaborative Team: Join 7 Hematology-Oncology physicians and 6 APPs in a collegial, team-based environment
Advanced Cancer Care: Access to clinical trials, multidisciplinary care, and Penn Cancer Network collaboration

General Hematology-Oncology role with no required subspecialization
Strong APP support and integrated inpatient coverage model
EPIC EMR system

Leadership & Academic Responsibilities
Direct and oversee the Hematology-Oncology Fellowship Program
Establish strategic direction and maintain program quality and reputation
Lead faculty development, research initiatives, and educational programming
Participate in institutional leadership and graduate medical education committees
