Engineering Technician

Our client, a leading organization in autonomous vehicle technology, is seeking an Engineering Technician to join their team. As an Engineering Technician, you will be part of the SW HIL team supporting vehicle simulation and test infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Engineering Technician

Location: Foster City, CA

Pay Range: $49.56/hour + Benefits

What's the Job?

• Support and track various configurations and generations of test platforms for vehicle simulation and software test platforms
• Assemble custom hardware to enable Hardware-in-the-Loop testing of software builds
• Integrate network and vehicle system components in server racks
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair test hardware and equipment
• Build cable harnesses based on diagrams and drawings

What's Needed?

• 3+ years of experience in hardware assembly, troubleshooting, or related fields
• Experience with general shop, automotive, and diagnostic tools (DMM, Oscilloscope, Harnessing Tools, etc.)
• Familiarity with building and troubleshooting cable harnesses and managing cables
• Experience with computers and networking hardware, including diagnosing and repairing components
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
