Full job description
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active VA physical therapy license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Minimum 6 months of outpatient physical therapy experience required with evaluation and treatment planning skills. Experience completing documentation including goal writing, functional quality indicators, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry. Ability to follow state practice act, maintain professional licensure and complete required continuing education.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in outpatient clinic settings treating a variety of musculoskeletal and functional diagnoses. Experience supervising or mentoring students. Demonstrated participation in performance improvement or quality initiatives.
Assignment Details
Shift pattern: 5x8 schedule. Typical weekly schedule: Monday 6:30 AM–12:30 PM; Tuesday and Thursday 9:00 AM–7:00 PM; Wednesday 6:30 AM–3:00 PM; Friday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM. Must be able to start as soon as available for a 13-week assignment.
