Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Family Law Attorney, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend or prosecute in civil litigation.
2. Prepare legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, appeals, wills, contracts, and real estate closing statements.
3. Provide legal advice to clients on child support, divorce, custody, and other family law matters.
4. Negotiate settlements in family law disputes.
5. Conduct research and analysis of legal problems to interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
6. Manage various projects and deadlines simultaneously.
7. Develop a strategy and create a plan of action for all cases.
8. Communicate with clients, colleagues, judges, and others involved in the case.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following qualifications:

1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 1+ year of family law experience.
3. Must be licensed to practice law in the state.
4. Proven track record of success in family law cases.
5. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
6. Ability to handle high-stress situations and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
