Lead Sonographer

Wellstar Health System seeks a Lead Sonographer to provide expert diagnostic ultrasound services and team leadership across its patient-centered care settings. In this role, you will perform complex vascular, abdominal, OB/GYN, and small-parts studies, ensuring accurate imaging, patient safety, and compassionate care. You will coordinate workflow, mentor sonographers, support students, and collaborate closely with radiologists and providers. The Lead Sonographer also helps drive quality improvement, protocol standardization, and adoption of advanced imaging techniques across the department.
