Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2060 per week.

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• BSN completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Pre/post cardiac cath experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Ability to titrate drips, if possible.

Preferred Credentials: Critical Care Course preferred.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric medical/telemetry patients with a higher-than-average cardiac population, including chest pain/cardiac rule-out patients, CHF exacerbations, pre/post cardiac cath patients, and many alcohol detox patients. Drips include Cardizem, Nitro, and Heparin; no pressors. Uses Alaris pumps and Hercules beds. No specialty lines/drains/devices; may see JP and other standard post-op drains, stable chest tubes, ports, and PICC lines. Oxygen support is limited to nasal cannula; patients may have chronic BiPAP/CPAP, but acute needs are transferred. Occasional trachs; no vents.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend and every other holiday.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
