Patient Services Representative Lead

Shift and status

Full time, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., variable days and fourth weekend

 

Job Summary

Organizes and directs day-to-day clerical function in the delivery of quality health care services through the utilization of standard work. Provides leadership and guidance to clerical team members.

 

Essential Functions

 

• Leads team in workflow processes and may provide input to performance feedback process if/when necessary.
• Problem-solves for other Patient Service Representatives team members in department/practice.
• Serves as a point of contact for Providers in identifying and escalating operational issues.
• Oversees and manages productivity, performance and quality metrics.
• Perform the roles of Patient Services Representative, Associate, Intermediate and Senior roles when necessary.
• Actively participates in safety initiatives and risk mitigating measures where appropriate and completes all position and unit safety related competencies and requirements on a timely basis.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5 years of relevant experience

Preferred

·      Associate’s degree
