Full job description

The Beverage Initiatives Specialist is an important role on the Initiatives team and the broader Brand Marketing team at Red Bull North America.  The incumbent will support the execution of the national product portfolio strategy to ensure an optimal and winning assortment for the U.S. market. Through analyzing sales and consumer trends, identifying gaps in our portfolio, and commercializing new products, you're responsible for shaping the brand portfolio across North America.  This role is also a key player in creating and managing assets to aid in driving awareness and consumption of our product assortment.


PRODUCT LAUNCHES AND PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT

Support with new product launches and ongoing marketing to promote existing products.

Manage internal and external communications for all product launches.

Develop insights-driven marketing plans to promote our brand and portfolio relevance, improve trial and awareness, and increase consumption.

Track performance for new item launches utilizing syndicated data, panel data, and internal trade sales data sources to benchmark versus previous launches and against competition.

Run ad-hoc analyses for energy drink category by evaluating current trends using various data sources e.g., Circana, Numerator.

BUSINESS PLANNING (BP) AND LONG LEAD INITIATIVES (LLI) SUPPORT 

Support cross-functional stakeholders within On- & Off-Premise Sales, Category Management, Distribution, and Brand Marketing to develop SKU prioritization analyses across channels.

Support LLI and BP analyses to ensure best-in-class portfolio assortment for the US market.

Analyze planograms (on-shelf and on-display), factoring in days of supply and brand standards, to ensure alignment and compliance with BP strategies and channel-specific needs.

Reinforce brand principles throughout business planning tool processes, including but not limited to ensuring SKU prioritization and planogram principles are applied to business planning inputs, including sales and distribution benchmarks.

Contribute to decks which showcase national and regional activations around product launches.

CREATIVE ASSET MANAGEMENT

Work cross-functionally (Legal, Regulatory, Operations & Agencies) to ensure consistent, legally compliant, on-brand and on-time: label designs (launch management), product imagery (packshots and photos), key visuals, product samples and kits, mocktail assets, and other product-based promotion assets for the entire organization.

Work cross-functionally to forecast product sample and kit demand and coordinate sample deliveries to all internal stakeholders.

Manage business relationships with external vendors to deliver tasting kits and product samples to the organization.

Develop and lead new product innovation confidentiality training.

Lead ‘Excite the Organization’ product initiatives like product desk drops and office engagement activities, along with creating cooler planograms for the Santa Monica campus.

Manage Beverage Initiatives budget for all expenses and forecasting related to Kits, Samples, Packshots, NACS, etc.

Update the internal platforms with relevant product launch assets and disseminate assets throughout the organization while upholding confidentiality standards.


2+ years of experience

University degree or comparable degree in business related studies

Fluency in English (verbal and written)

Professional experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), retail, or the on-premise 

Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint)

Preferred (but not required) understanding of: Circana Syndicated Database (Unify+), Numerator, JDA Space Planning & SAP-based tools 

Ability to work cross-functionally and to influence without direct authority

Capacity to manage multiple and evolving projects/priorities and stakeholders simultaneously

This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.
The base salary range for this position is $68,000 - 102,000 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
