• 2-12 patients per shift with assigned patient rounding
• 1/3 call ratio with 30-minute response time
• Call volume: 3-5 phone consults, 3-15 patients seen per 24 hours
• Replacing current locum provider for ongoing coverage
• Hospital privileges required
• Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
