Full job description

Full-Time | Fort Atkinson, WI
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and maximize production efficiency.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities on equipment according to established maintenance programs and procedures.
  • Read and interpret maintenance manuals, electrical schematics, blueprints, and parts lists to safely repair, maintain, and install equipment.
  • Inspect machinery and facility systems regularly to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions before failures occur.
  • Maintain, repair, and improve corrugated converting equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Perform basic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and fabrication work as needed.
  • Operate cutting torches, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools to repair or fabricate components.
  • Repair and maintain the physical structure of the facility, including both interior and exterior building systems.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve equipment performance, reliability, and safety.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment consistent with 5S principles.
  • Strictly follow all Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and safety standards while performing maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate effectively with production personnel and other departments to support operational goals.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or related technical experience.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair abilities.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and basic electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and equipment documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple responsibilities.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
