Psychiatry Adult physician job in New York :

A hospital system on Staten Island, New York is currently seeking a licensed Adult Psychiatrist for a promising position with their growing team.

About the Opportunity:

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Hours: 830am to 5:30pm
  • Setting: Outpatient
  • Call: No Call

Responsibilities:

  • Prescribe, direct, and administer psychotherapeutic treatments or medications to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders
  • Collaborate with other physicians, psychologists, and social workers
  • Discuss care plans and progress in the collaborative team approach model
  • Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical histories, reports, and examination results
  • Maintain complete and accurate medical records

Qualifications:

  • Current unrestricted NY medical license
  • Board Certified/Eligible in Psychiatry
Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor with or w/o US residency with current US work visa.
