Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution and the teaching hospital for Rush Medical and Nursing Colleges, invites applications for the position of Gastroenterology with specialized expertise in Pancreatology
Position Highlights
* The successful candidate will provide specialized evaluation and management of patients with pancreatic disorders and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.
* This role will also contribute to the education and mentorship of fellows, residents, and other learners while supporting ongoing program development and clinical innovation.
* This is an excellent opportunity for a gastroenterologist with a focused interest in pancreatic diseases and disorders to play a key role in expanding specialized services, improving patient access, and advancing education and multidisciplinary care.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across gastroenterology, surgery, oncology, radiology, pathology, and other relevant specialties
* Participate in the development and enhancement of clinical programs related to pancreatic disease
* Contribute to medical education, trainee teaching, and mentorship
* Opportunities for clinical research, quality improvement, and academic pursuits
Qualifications
* MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree
* Board certified or board eligible in Gastroenterology
* Fellowship trained in Gastroenterology
* Demonstrated clinical expertise and interest in Pancreatology
* Experience managing complex pancreatic disorders preferred
* Strong commitment to multidisciplinary collaboration, education, and mentorship
* Eligible for or able to obtain an Illinois medical license

Rush offers competitive total compensation that includes base pay, benefits, and other incentive programs for our employees. The total pay range shown reflects the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, knowledge and skills; relevant experience and training; education, certifications, and licensure; primary work location; and other business and organizational factors. This total pay range is for a full-time, 1.0 FTE employee, and includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role, as well as additional compensation such as sign-on and retention bonuses and relocation allowances. Opportunities for increased compensation based on exceeding productivity targets. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.
Total Compensation Pay Range: $400,000 - $587,000
