Full job description
Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide advanced diagnostic ultrasound services across our Georgia facilities. In this role, you will perform complex exams, ensure high-quality imaging, and deliver compassionate, patient-centered care. You will lead and mentor sonography staff, coordinate daily workflow, and collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nurses to support accurate diagnoses and treatment plans. The Lead Sonographer also supports protocol development, quality improvement, and safe equipment use while engaging in ongoing education within our collaborative, mission-driven health system.
