6:30 am - 5:00 pm or Four 10-hour day shifts

Job Description:

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia and analgesia for scheduled, non-emergent pediatric orthopedic procedures and imaging under the direction and supervision of an attending anesthesiologist.

  • Perform preoperative patient evaluations and, in collaboration with the attending anesthesiologist, develop and implement a comprehensive anesthesia care plan.

  • Safely transport patients to and from anesthetizing locations and provide appropriate postoperative care.

  • Collaborate effectively as part of the anesthesia and surgical team while maintaining respectful, professional interactions with patients, families, and staff.

  • Provide safe, compassionate, and age-appropriate anesthesia care consistent with organizational standards and applicable regulatory requirements.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Current CRNA or CAA license.

  • Previous experience working as a CRNA or CAA.

  • Current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications.

  • CRNA Candidates: Current NBCRNA certification.

  • CAA Candidates: Current NCCAA certification.

  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills.
