Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2920 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Special Requests: Former UPH employees, whether FTE or PRN for the UPH float pool, cannot work travel in another market, regardless of which facility they currently work at or have worked at within the past 12 months. If they worked travel at UPH rather than as FTE or PRN, the separation policy does not apply. A limit of 1 day-off request applies between 11/25-11/29 and 12/23-12/27 for all travelers.

Unit Details: Common surgeries include prostatectomy, mastectomy, abdominal surgeries, and thyroidectomy. Heparin is administered as a drip. This is a general medical/surgical floor caring for post-operative patients who require overnight stays.

Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. Every other weekend. No call. Travelers are required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.

Floating Requirements: Float to other Med-Surg/Tele units is required. The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required for submission
