Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $2210 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• AS completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 24 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Required Credentials: Associate’s degree - Respiratory Therapy.

Unit Details: Performs routine and critical respiratory care procedures. Respiratory care covers neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. Provides respiratory care on inpatient units and in the emergency room. Obtains and analyzes arterial, venous, and capillary blood gases. Completes assessments on ventilator patients and other patients receiving respiratory care services.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend shifts as needed. Holiday shifts as needed.

Floating Requirements: Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between the following sites: Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital. The Carle Leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations.

7 days maximum time off. Maximum consecutive days off: 3

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required
