Wastewater Operations Team Lead

Education/Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in the wastewater industry required
- 2+ years in a supervisor role
- Have an appropriate wastewater license
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and policies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in technology and equipment used in environmental inspections.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
- Must be able to stoop, bend, and kneel to conduct inspections and carry equipment used for inspections
- Must be able to walk through a large facility
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to work in an environmental setting
Our ideal Wastewater Operations Team Lead candidate will have the following capabilities and skills:
*Team Member Supervisory Responsibilities
- Leadership, management, and accountability for designated Wastewater Operations Specialists
- Complete quarterly one on ones with team members
- Run wastewater treatment plants within permit limits
- Support the Director of Operations
- Alternate wastewater operations scheduler
- Manage wastewater contractors
