Job Overview

  • Specialty: Cardiac Anesthesiology

  • State: Tennessee and Mississippi (Memphis)

  • Start Date: Not provided; ongoing need with a 6-month contract and 30-day out.

  • Setting: Inpatient; multiple locations in the Memphis area, including Olive Branch, Mississippi.

  • Patient Volume: Not provided.

  • Job Details: Mainly Monday-Friday, with limited weekends and call as available. Primary need for 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts; limited 24-hour shifts. All cardiac cases. Approximately two-thirds CRNA supervision and one-third own cases. Must be willing to cover all Tennessee locations. Travel, lodging, and car reimbursed for providers more than 100 miles from University Hospital.

  • Client Requirements: Board-certified anesthesiologist; TEE certification; BLS, ACLS, PALS, and DEA. Tennessee and/or Mississippi license, ideally both. Must provide 50 case logs from the last 12 months. Clean file with no malpractice claims. Credentialing: 60-90 days for full privileges.

  • EMR: Cerner, transitioning to Epic.

  • Delta Locum Tenens can assist with travel arrangements and credentialing and will cover malpractice.
