Steward (Part-Time) – Temple Square Hospitality | $17–$18/hr
Work at One of Salt Lake City’s Most Iconic Hospitality Destinations!
Located inside the historic Joseph Smith Memorial Building on Temple Square, we offer both a casual and upscale dining experience, as well as events in some of the most beautiful venues in Utah.
We’re looking for Stewards who are passionate professionals and take pride in their craft, contributing to a team known for excellence.
Part-time | 15–25 hours/week | 2–3 shifts

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
• Operate dishwashing machine and manually wash pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment as needed
• Assist in organizing and storing kitchen equipment, disposing of trash and recycling, and following all food and safety protocols, including proper handling of cleaning products
• Support culinary staff by restocking wares, utensils, and cleaning supplies
• Assist with deep cleaning tasks and other kitchen maintenance as required
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
• Previous stewarding, dishwashing, or kitchen support experience, preferred but not required
• Reliable, positive, and team-oriented attitude
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic and ability to follow direction
JOB ENVIRONMENT/OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• May be required to work outside of regular business hours, including weekends, early mornings, and holidays, to accommodate business needs
• Standing and walking for extended periods of time
• Ability to repetitively bend, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check, as well as abide by all company policies
• Takes on additional duties as required or assigned by management
COMPENSATION:
$17.00 - $18.00/hour. This range is inclusive of multiple job levels. Salary to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to evaluation of the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant along with internal equity and alignment with market data.
