Our MedStar Bel Air Medical Campus, part of MedStar Health, the largest healthcare system in the Maryland-Washington region, is seeking a Physiatrist to join our acute inpatient rehabilitation team.

This modern ambulatory campus offers integrated access to orthopedics, sports medicine, pain management, physical therapy, and advanced imaging services, supporting a multidisciplinary approach to restoring function and improving quality of life. PM&R physicians have the opportunity to treat a diverse patient population with a wide range of conditions, including stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, orthopedic conditions, and other complex medical rehabilitation cases, while benefiting from system-wide collaboration, robust referral networks, and the resources of one of the region's leading healthcare systems.

The Physiatrist will be paired with an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to support clinical care delivery and optimize patient outcomes.

Additional responsibilities include limited consult coverage and a small outpatient practice, allowing for continuity of care across the rehabilitation continuum.

Minimal Qualifications
Education

  • Graduation from an accredited school of medicine required

Experience

  • 1-2 years Practice experience required

Licenses and Certifications

  • MD - Physician - State Licensure License to practice medicine in the State of Maryland required

  • Board certification in primary care specialty preferred
