Pay: $90,000 to $110,000 per year plus auto allowance

Run your own spindle repair facility as General Facility Manager, in a highly visible role with a clear path to General Management of the entire company.

Must-Haves

• Proficiency in super precision rolling element bearing engineering and application in high-speed rotating equipment
• Experience in bearing and mechanical component failure analysis
• Mechanical or electromechanical background with the ability to perform engineering calculations on rotating equipment machine elements
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Well organized, self-motivated, and committed to customer service and excellence

What You'll Do

• Oversee and direct all functions of the spindle repair service facility
• Supervise and mentor a team of Repair Technicians
• Schedule and assign spindle repairs based on each technician's experience and skill
• Diagnose spindle cause of failure and recommend design and performance improvements
• Review spindle evaluation reports and build repair quotes covering parts and labor
• Partner with Sales to answer technical questions and provide cost and schedule estimates
• Coordinate with a sister Midwest service center to balance workload and route repairs efficiently
• Sign off on final repair reports to ensure every spindle meets standards and performs for the customer

Nice-to-Haves

• Machine tool service experience
• Machining or grinding background
