Full job description

Our client, a leader in logistics and supply chain management, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the warehouse operations team supporting shipping, receiving, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Wilmington, MA

Pay Range: $22-$24 an hour

Shift: Monday through Friday - 8:00AM - 4:30PM & 10:00AM - 6:00 PM

What's the Job?

  • Perform physical tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing merchandise and materials
  • Check goods received against purchase orders or invoices and maintain accurate records
  • Package and prepare products for shipment, posting weights and shipping charges
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently
  • Inspect goods for damage, report discrepancies, and organize inventory in designated storage areas

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • Previous experience in warehouse or logistics
  • Experience operating pallet jacks, hand trucks, or forklift
  • Ability to lift heavy items (up to 35 lbs)
  • Basic computer skills, attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
