Job Details

Responsibilities:
1. Provide comprehensive legal advice and guidance on trust and estate matters to clients, ensuring their assets are managed effectively and in accordance with their wishes.
2. Draft and review legal documents, including wills, trusts, power of attorney, and estate plans.
3. Handle probate and estate administration processes, including filing necessary paperwork, representing clients in court, and managing estate assets.
4. Advise clients on tax implications related to estate planning and administration, and work closely with tax professionals to minimize tax liabilities.
5. Represent clients in disputes involving trusts and estates, including litigation if necessary.
6. Stay updated with the latest developments and changes in trust and estate law and tax law.
7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their needs are met.

Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admitted to the State Bar and in good standing.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Trust and Estate Attorney.
4. Extensive knowledge of trust and estate law, probate, estate administration, tax, and wills.
5. Proficiency in tax law, particularly as it relates to estate planning and administration.
6. Excellent legal research and writing skills.
