ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Dementia Caregiver at Belmont Village, you will provide hands-on care and support to seniors living in our secured Memory Care community. Working as part of a collaborative care team, you'll assist residents with daily activities while building meaningful relationships that enhance their comfort, wellbeing, and quality of life.
We're seeking dependable, team-oriented care professionals who take pride in their work, maintain a positive attitude, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidates are comfortable caring for multiple residents with various stages of cognitive impairment who may require behavioral redirection and extensive hands-on care including bathing, dressing and incontinence care. Previous experience as a Caregiver with a special needs population, C.N.A., Resident Assistant, Direct Support Professional (DSP), Patient Care Assistant, or in a similar healthcare, senior living, assisted living, memory care, or group home setting is highly valued. C.N.A. license is not required.
YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living to an assigned group of senior residents living in our secured Memory Care community
Promote socialization and inspire participation in community activities while prioritizing resident safety and well-being
Document and maintain accurate records of daily care and services provided and promptly report any observed changes to supervisors
Uphold high standards of care, safety, cleanliness and regulatory compliance
Provide hands-on assistance with toileting, hygiene and incontinence care as needed
Make hospitality, customer service, and resident satisfaction your top priorities in every interaction

QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least 18 years of age
High School diploma or equivalent
Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
Experience as a primary caregiver or relevant training as a care provider
Must be able to effectively use company issued electronic devices such as tablets, smartphones, and laptops for job-related tasks
Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude
Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community
Offers of employment are contingent upon completion of applicable post-offer pre-employment screenings, which may include a job-related background check, drug screening, physical examination, and TB testing, consistent with applicable laws.
