Job Type: Temp to Hire
Job Summary
We are hiring a Shipping & Receiving Associate for a client in Braselton, GA. This role supports daily warehouse operations by receiving inbound product, picking and packing orders, and preparing outbound shipments. No forklift experience is required.
Responsibilities
• Receive inbound shipments and verify quantities against packing lists and purchase orders
• Unload, inspect, and report any damaged or incorrect product
• Pick orders accurately using pick tickets or an RF scanner
• Pack orders securely and prepare them for outbound shipment
• Label packages and stage shipments for carrier pickup
• Put away received product in the correct storage locations
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
• Follow all safety procedures and quality standards
Must Haves
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail and order accuracy
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic math and counting skills
Preferred Skills
• Prior warehouse, shipping and receiving, or pick and pack experience
• Experience using an RF scanner or handheld scanning device
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Experience working in a fast-paced distribution environment
