Cardiac Cath Lab - Travel Registered Nurse - $3430 per week.

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• BSN completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a South Dakota license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <80 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Required Credentials: Graduate from an approved nursing program is acceptable.

Preferred Credentials: Graduation from a NLN- or AACN-accredited nursing program is strongly preferred.

Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Current or previous employees must take a full 6 months off from any Good Samaritan Society and Marshfield Clinic Health System location as well. Previous employment must be disclosed on the resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.

Shift & Scheduling: Shift times vary: 0530-1600, 0630-1700 and 0730-1800. Will be on the mandate list to fill any vacant call that is not picked up. On-call expectation: 1-2 calls per week and 1 call weekend every 3-4 weeks, with a 30-minute response time.

Unit Details: Administer and monitor conscious sedation during procedures and circulate in a sterile environment. Procedures include left and right heart catheterizations, PCIs, temporary and permanent pacemakers, ICDs, EP procedures, TEEs and cardioversions, venous ablations, and peripheral vascular angiograms. Equipment and systems include Pyxis, XIM (Philips monitoring system), Xcelera, ultrasounds, Angiojets, EKOS machines, and the Acist contrast injection system.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
